Is the Walking Dead on a break till Feb something? Definitely not as good as last year but I expect it to pick up, can any comic readers confirm?

It is on hiatus until February. And while I haven't read the comic, I know that they've departed quite a bit from it at this point with the characters that are still around and those that aren't, so any reader really would only have a rough idea of where the series is going anyway.

Last night's How I Met Your Mother reminded me at the same time why I loved, and why I currently fucking hate that show.

Cobie Smulders, who by the way according to different reports online around "The Avengers" movie steals the show in that movie, was absolutely spectacular last night, and hopefully she'll finally get the Emmy nomination she deserves, she really can't do more, she deserves the award much less nomination for that episode.

And yet the absolutely criminal end to the episode yet again pulling the rug out from the viewers, the constant, relentless slaps in the face to the viewers are so far beyond grating and tiring at this point, that I don't know why I still watch the stupid show.

luckily no one was hurt... but this is definitely going to affect the production of the show. at the very least, say goodbye to seeing them use the Dublin bomb range!

I know what you mean... i was like "what the.." toward the end of the show... but i thought that eps was a good set up to move the show to the next page of the story.

I'm liking Hell On Wheels - solid so far.

How I Met Your Mother didn't bother me too much the other night. It was cheese but they always do that here and there and, as silly as it seemed, it was a pretty good curveball as it made us all think Robin/Barney had a kid...and that they got married...I wonder if they do actually get married???

I've wrote about it before, very good show. The best thing about Walking Dead this year is that I found out about Hell on Wheels.

I really like How To Make It In America. I also enjoy Royal Pains (which is totally different, but I enjoy it in anyway)

I have watched every episode but I probably only still watch because of the occasional tit/bush shot. It has its moments but I can't figure out why it is still around while some better shows got bounced.

The Homeland finale was pretty good last night. I only started watching it a few episodes ago & wish I had been watching all season. I assume it will be back for another run?

Yeah, Homeland was already renewed. I loved it, probably my favorite new show this year.

Addicted to ROME right now, just finishing up S1. I would say if you like Game of Thrones you would probably like this.

Need a new TV show to watch, just finished Breaking Bad, Dexter seasons, The Wire (on dvd), Mad Men not on to next year. What should I start watching?

    Thinking:
    Homeland
    Game of Thrones
    Boardwalk Empire

Or maybe go back and pick up the Sopranos since I never watched that.

You never watched the Sopranos? If you have the time, I would start there.

Yeah, if you've watched breaking bad, the wire & mad men, you need to watch the sopranos - those 4 shows are usually at the top of the 'best ever tv series' lists. (I personally don't get the mad men love, though)
