A play on the no-no title... What about Alex Rodriguez doing the unwritten no-no, walking across Dallas Braden's pitcher's mound. That is a no-no.

He is such a douche. Same guy who yells out "got it" on a pop up when running the bases.

What a year so far Jimenez is having, it's not even June yet and he's already 9-1, with a 0.88 ERA.

Nice, perfect game for Halladay, he's certainly loving it in the NL.

I watched it happen. Pretty solid stuff. He swore on live television saying "Fucking A". Awesome thing to see. Knew he'd tear up the NL, didn't think a perfect game would happen so soon though.

I think Halladay has pulled ahead in the best pitcher in baseball sweepstakes....Lincecum is clearly still in the race and Jimenez is looking lights out, but Roy is a fucking beast....and an incredibly consistent beast at that!

I agree, but with saying that, Jimenez is pitching another gem today, 8 IP (so far) 3 H, 1 BB, 9 K's and he droped his season ERA down to 0.79 and is in line to be 10-1 on the season, and it's only the last day of May.

Another not so great outing for Lincecum today.

I'm taking Ubaldo at this point. Roy has the track record, but Ubaldo has been downright disgusting this year.

Yeah, you have to give it to him at this point. Still early in the season though.

Ubaldo is disgusting. I wish I had continued my mancrush this year and selected him. The exact opposite happened and I own him in exactly ZERO pools.

He's been the best pitcher this year, 10 wins and an ERA of .78. Just mindblowing.

He also pitches at Coors Field, that makes it that more impressive.

Yeah, but Doc also is pitching in a hitters park but Coors is on another level for sure. It's 1A and 1B for me. Ubaldo this year just deserves the recognition, and Halladay is still obviously at the top of the game, too.

They where talking the other day about how if Ubaldo can keep pitching the way he is for most of the season, he just might have a chance a 30 win season, that would be sick, I saw part of the game yesterday, he's got some dirty, dirty stuff.

    Edwin Jackson. Another one.

Good lord have we seen some pitching this season?

Nearly 150 pitches for him, too.

Or are we just seeing the results of a post-steroid era of hitting?

I find it hard to celebrate a no hitter where there are 8 walks..

Record is 10. Burnett had 9 in his no-hitter. As much as you don't want to respect it because of the walks, you got to give him tons of credit for dealing 150 pitches.

Garza now. This is getting crazy. There's no way to project no hitter's, but pitchers this year are on pace to tie the all-time mark of eight. The modern record is seven.

Don't discount the attention paid to keeping greenies out of the game as well.
