    College Basketball

Well with the Polls coming out today and my boys being back in the top 25, I figured I'd spark this up and see if we got any hardcore college bball fans?

Gators also inked a kid I've been following since 8th grade. Mr. Kenny Boynton Jr. HUGE SIGN!

I will watch College B-Ball any day over the NBA.

I'm not a fan of NC, but they will be a tough team to beat this season that's for sure, Tyler Hansbrough is a beast.

For College B-Ball I have always liked to cheer for Gonzaga, I see they are ranked #11 right now, good stuff, Go Bulldogs Go !!!!

Austin Daye, Josh Hayvelte(sp), Matt Boulden.. all have the Zags looking pretty good.

UF might not be a contender this year, but next year... watch out for those Gators!!!

I knew JJ was a punk in HS... but most of the stars are. To lose someone that talented it does knock you down a notch.

Gotta love Izzo, putting his team to the grinding stone. It's a great schedule.. you guys will be tournament ready, and they will look at that strong RPI you will have.

Agreed, Ohio State will be very young and untested. Wisconsin will always be a tough team with Bo Ryan.

I agree, but if they lose Hansbrough for any games, that would be a big loss, he does alot for that team.

I think they could survive for the most part, but yeah if Pyscho T is out for any more than a couple they would be in trouble. Dude can fill it up.

    Preseason All American 1st Team:

Guards: Stephen Curry and Darren Collison
Forwards: Luke Harangody, Blake Griffin, Tyler Hansbrough

Collison/Hansbrough are repeats from last year.

Tyler Zeller is a stud, hopefully he gets his RS.

From all I saw from Patty Mills, Samhan, Simpson... Saint Marys should give Gonzaga a nice run in that WCC.

Indeed there was, Cousins ended up not signing at UAB and it looks like he is still open to recruitment. Same with Kreft and Casey Mitchell... UAB's class might be disappearing.

Yeah Zeller is a stud for sure, some think he could be even better then Hansbrough one day.

Saint Marys will give us a good run in the WCC, but we dont play them till Jan 29th.

1st big test for Gonzga is coming up in the Old Spice Classic, we play Oklahoma State, No. 5 Michigan State and Maryland in the Classic.

I'll be at the Old Spice Classic, was there last year for my UCF boys and saw Nova and Kansas State as well.

Yeah its not about the regular season in the WCC though... all about that conference tournament.

Zeller will be up and down better than Hansbrough... Psycho T doesn't have that much skill, he just has an incredible heart and work ethic. Kid does not quit... but he does cry when he takes elbows to the mouth

1st upset of the year, Michigan beat #4 UCLA tonight 55-52.

Edit: Also how about Texas Tech beating East Central 167-116.
