I think the Kings will come out strong and hungry after a win against the Nucks, but the Blues will win it in 6.

In a defensive showdown, I'm going with the Jennings winner. STL in 6.

Blues in 7. Should be tight I think.

Exactly what im thinking. I`ll go further and say everygame ends up being 1-0. I like the Blues here.

Yeah, I was gonna say 1-0 or 2-1 tbh. This is Ken Hitchcock vs Darryl Sutter who are 2 of the most defensive (trap) teams in the league. The only guy who can go pound 4 pound with respect to trap and defense is Jacque Lemaire. The Kings played in the most 1-0 games in the league and lost the most games by 1 goal. The Blues and Kings had 25 shutouts combined this season. I still say we`re in for a few 0-0 games.

The loss of Alex Pietrangelo is huge but credit is due for the Kings. The Kings look like they have game 2 wrapped and will be 5-0 in the playoffs on the road. Blues only lost 6 regular season games at home all year. Very impressive playoffs for the Kings so far. The Kings scored another shorty as well.

I think Pietrangelo was next in line for the Norris behind Chara, Karlsson, and Weber. Pietrangelo might be back in this series. I heard on the radio concussion was ruled out, lower body injury. Halak might be back as well. The Blues without question would bounce back with Halak if he was healthy. Halak has not practiced with the team. (3 day break coming up)

Kings have been fantastic. What a SHG by Kopitar, love this guy, Brown gets equal credit for the amazing setup

I don't know about that. They were pretty lousy on offense pretty much the entire year. At times completely unwatchable how out of sync they were as a team.

Yeah, the Kings were horrible until they landed Jeff Carter. If Jon Quick hadn`t been the teams MVP, the Kings would have been eliminated in February. Yesterdays 5 goal game was the Kings biggest outburst all season (which is pretty bad).

Selfishly, I wanted this series to go long. I really thought it was going to be tight.

I must admit this result took me totally by surprise. Did not see the dark horse that was the Kings turning out to be a thoroughbred.
