Hey all! It's great to be back on these forums after a long summer.

I'm in a 2 player keeper league that is rebooting after this year, so the 2 keepers I pick will only be for this season. Daniel Sedin will be my first keeper, but I'm trying to decide between Luongo and Rinne as my 2nd keeper. I'm leaning towards Luongo, but does anyone think Rinne could possibly be the better option? Cats are in my sig (Team 1). Thanks!

I'd take Luongo. Rinne is my favorite, I like him a hell of a lot more as a goalie, and honestly do think he'll put up better numbers in most of those categories but in such a tough division it's hard to say. Playing Wings, Blackhawks, newly improved Jackets, and up and coming Blues is way harder than the Wild, Avs, Oilers, and Flames. Schneider might steal some starts from Luongo, but the same could be said about Lindback. The cup run hangover might effect Vancouver as well, but we'll see. Nashville is unlikely to have 1 60 point forward, and scoring so little will cost them some wins.

Never thought of the Division rivals, good point!

I like Rinne better, and Nashville's defensive hockey benefits him, but looking at the Divisions, I might take Lu... or flip a coin ;)

Luongo is the safer choice.

If Rinne played for the Canucks and Luongo the Preds, I'd take Rinne. But since that isnt the case, I'll take Luongo cause the Canucks will dominate the West again especially in that very weak Northwest division. Luongo for me, this season anyway.

For this year I'd take Luongo.

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards Luongo, and I think I'm going to go with him, especially since it's only for this year.

Raja, that was a great point re: the divisions. Thanks!

Can you trade Luongo for a first round pick.

That's not a bad idea. I'd be happy with Rinne over Luongo if it nets me another 1st round pick. I'm going to give it a shot.

Well they would really have to have a shitty goalie. Maybe even a second or third rounder considering they will have to use a keeper slot on Lu
