Disclaimer: All of the following are based on my (hopefully) unbiased opinion and are in no way statistical fact. Factors going into my decisions include goalie skill, match up, career stats vs, and recent trends. How many goalies start reflects how much I write about them, usually. If you disagree about anything feel free to voice your opinion!

C = CONFIRMATION: All confirmations are listed below or click here (http://goaliestatus.com/)

Must Start
Backstrom @LAK: Backstrom has great stats against the Kings and shut them out last game, so once again Backstrom gets a bonus on top of being awesome the last 2 months anyways. He's gone below .939sv% just 3 times in his last 11 games, and only once was a bad game.

Good Start
Boucher vs NYI: Bobrovsky is 3-0 against the Islanders, but he played last game and lost. Boucher has won 4 in a row with just 7 goals allowed.
C Howard @DAL: After winning 4 straight, Howard let in 4 goals against the Sharks. He stopped 39 shots though, so still managed to have a decent sv%.
C Reimer @MTL: Reimer continues to be incredible, stopping 28 of 29 for his 9th win in just his 14th start. If the Leafs had this level of play all season, they'd be in the playoff picture.
C Crawford @NSH: The consistency of Crawford has been incredible, but is it just because Chicago is a good team? Before San Jose picked up their play, Niemi was really struggling and the same case could be made for Crawford. Still though, he's balanced a very low 2gaa and near .924sv% since November without much deviation.
Rinne vs CHI: Rinne still continues to put up great numbers, but he's beginning to lose his consistency. He's allowed 7 in his last 2 games and been below .900 4 times in 9 games this month. I'm not sure many people realize how incredibly important Suter is with all the attention Weber gets.
Bernier vs MIN: Quick went and won last night, so Bernier should go here. He too got a shutout against Minny last game, but lost in the shootout. In his last 5 games he's been living up to everyone's expectations, just not playing as often as some would like.

Toss Up
Montoya @PHI: Montoya played quite well again, but it's hard to imagine him keeping it up. Like Toronto, if the Islanders had Montoya/Poulin playing this well all year they'd be much higher in the standings.
Price vs TOR: Price's split monthly stats make me want to rank him higher, but he's too inconsistent at the moment. When he wins he's playing great, but his sv% has been below .897 6 of his last 11 games.
C Schneider vs STL: Schneider has allowed 1 goal each in 4 of his last 6, but 4 goals in both of the other 2. St.Louis shouldn't be difficult but with their offense re-energized they should be scoring a lot more goals than they used to.

Weak Start
C Lehtonen @DET: He only let in 1 goal, but still ended up losing to the red hot Devils. Detroit has been pretty hot lately too, and Lehtonen let in 6 against them in their last meeting.
Conklin @VAN: Conklin finally finished a whole game, and it didn't go well. Halak is travelling with the team and definitely not playing tonight, but he could be back this weekend.

Sergei Bobrovsky starts tonight for the Flyers. Not surprising, considering reporters were prodding Lavi about Bob's skills yesterday.
