Disclaimer: All of the following are based on my (hopefully) unbiased opinion and are in no way statistical fact. Factors going into my decisions include goalie skill, match up, career stats vs, and recent trends. How many goalies start reflects how much I write about them, usually. If you disagree about anything feel free to voice your opinion!

C = CONFIRMATION: All confirmations are listed below or click here (http://goaliestatus.com/)

I've got class early Thursdays, so these get done sometime Wednesday night. (Lucky you, lazy me)

Good Start
Reimer vs NJD: Reimer performed well against the Isles after dropping a bad game against Buffalo. I'm not sure of the contract situation with Gustavsson, but it'll be interesting to see if they roll with that tandem next year or try and get a vet to play with one of them.
PHI goalie vs CAR: Both goalies have been awesome. I don't know who's playing so I don't know what to say, but really if you own both it's a good problem to have.
Auld vs NYI: Auld has been great in limited time, having just 1 poor outing in 6 starts. Considering Price is still in after letting in 6 goals, he's probably a lock to start tomorrow.
Quick @PIT: It appears the slump is over, and the Kings playoff push is on. Quick has won 5 in a row, allowing 9 goals in that span. Pittsburgh's injuries will catch up to them.
Miller @FLA: It was an ugly win against Tampa, but he earned it. I mentioned it before that the scheduling is definitely in favor of the Sabres right now, and basically is until their road trip to start March.

Toss Up
Hedberg @TOR: When Hiller went down, I was lucky enough to get Hedberg instead of having to settle for McElhinney/Emery. With the Devils rolling, he should put up pretty solid stats, as he has 3 of his last 4 games.
Ward @PHI: Ward has been playing well, but his gaa keeps creeping up. He's allowed 3 goals in 4 straight, but still managed a .917sv% over that span. He's awful against Philly.
Fleury vs LAK: Fleury has lost 2 in a row, but the first one was a decent start. Tough times are coming for the Pens, but it'll more likely be low goal losses than blowouts on Fleury's part; all of the defense are still healthy. Lack of offense and resurgence of the Kings is why he moved down, his individual play is still good. I know they've won a few without Crosby/Malkin, but they're practically a great AHL team.
Vokoun vs BUF: I know there were talks of Vokoun re-signing, but frankly it seems less likely that he'll be traded at the deadline, and his rights will be shopped around in the off season, a la Ellis & Hamhuis (unless FLA gets a goalie in return). He continues his stretch of solid sv%, but has allowed 3 or more in 7 of his last 10.

Don't Start
Koskinen @MTL: His numbers in the AHL suck, he's too young, he was visibly nervous in his first start, the Isles are fucked. They traded for Al Montoya today, and he's definitely not the answer considering he only cost a 6th round pick.

Holy Edit Batman!: Because of the Florida trade involving Salak (especially with the Markstrom injury), something is up and now it seems very likely Vokoun is going nowhere. It's even a possibility beyond this season, unless like I said, they get a goalie in return from another trade. It also might mean that Chicago treats Crawford the same way they did with Niemi, since Salak is quite a solid prospect as well. That would also require them to get another vet, since I highly doubt they'll re-sign Turco.

there is no way price is playing tomorrow after letting in 8 and getting in a fight.

Yeah I didn't even know about that til a little bit ago. I saw that he let in 6 and was still in, he definitely would have been pulled by then if there was a chance of him starting tomorrow. Makes complete sense anyways given the match ups though.
