I'm trying to claw my way up from last to playoff contention. I might be being too itchy to change my squad...
G, A and PPP is weak for me. Burns has disappeared and Fowler seems to be perkolating along on a good PP. Over the last 14 and 30 days Fowler looks great compared to Burns. I'd lose some PIMS but always do well in that cat. Maybe some keeper appeal to Fowler.
I thought rookies tend to peter out as the year wears on. Who's better the rest of the year?

Forget dumping Burns...I'd have dumped Wideman for Fowler long ago

Fowler would be my #2 keeper D on that team after Z and over Goligoski or Burns when you consider how young he is 18-19 and his projection of 35+ pts....mucho upsido

Wideman has actually been decent since I grabbed him recently for some PPP and out performing both of them overall for last 30 days. Hard to drop him when he is helping in PPG and PPA and Burns is not.

Every time I think of dumping burns he has a multipoint game. However I would move on Fowler if still available. he is a dynamite keeper.

Gang,
I was all ready to cut Wideman tonight instead of Burns until Wideman had 1PPG 4PIM and 3BLK tonight. Hope I don't live to regret this, but I did Burns for Fowler. I think he will help me more in the short term, long term yet to be determined...
