Disclaimer: All of the following are based on my (hopefully) unbiased opinion and are in no way statistical fact. Factors going into my decisions include goalie skill, match up, career stats vs, and recent trends. How many goalies start reflects how much I write about them, usually. If you disagree about anything feel free to voice your opinion!

C = CONFIRMATION: All confirmations are listed below or click here (http://goaliestatus.com/)

Must Start
Rinne vs EDM: Rinne took advantage of a struggling Detroit and shut them out in an important divisional game. He's 6-1 against Edmonton, but with surprisingly horrible numbers.
Luongo vs OTT: 4 game win streak, .933sv% or above in every start. Behind Thomas, the Vezina candidates are piling up.

Good Start
Crawford @CGY: Crawford's last game wasn't good, but the all star break has passed and Turco has started 2 games, so he should be very well rested.
Kiprusoff vs CHI: After going on an excellent 5 game win streak, Kiprusoff was defeated by the Kings, but still put up decent stats. Now just 1 point out of the playoffs, they'll probably start Kipper as much as possible, assuming his play stays near this level. As rhynoc states below, outside of his last few games he's been atrocious against Chicago.
Biron @DET

Toss Up
Howard vs NYR: Datsyuk is supposed to return tonight, so perhaps they can finally score a goal. 2 of Howard's last 3 games have been solid, and in the poor one at least he got a win.
Dubnyk @NSH: From now on, assume Khabi is a don't start, and I'll post about Dubnyk every game unless confirmed otherwise. His last outing was pretty poor, but over his last 2 months (4-2-3) he managed to maintain a 2.38gaa and .921sv%. Why he doesn't start more is beyond me.
Bryzgalov vs COL: Bryzgalov is struggling, but he's posted 2 shutouts in his last 7 starts. 3 games ago, he had a 31 save victory over the Avs.

Weak Start
Pavelec @TOR: After Pavelec shutout Washington, he immediately played 3 crappy games letting in 11 goals. Personally, I think his numbers are close to where they'll be at the end of the season, so I don't see much of a decline coming..I've been wrong a lot though.
Giguere vs ATL: Reimer finally had a bad game, and Wilson calling his previous shutout easy might have had something to do with it. Giggy has been incredibly inconsistent, but when he wins he puts up great stats.
Anderson @PHX: Anderson has let in 3 or more goals in 5 of his last 7 starts. Nothing new to see here.

Don't Start
Elliott @VAN: Often overshadowed by Khabibulin's losing streak, Elliott is on a huge one of his own, counting up to 12 games.

I would drop Kipper down a tier. His numbers against Chicago are atrocious dating back to last year.
6 goals one game, 6 another (pulled), 3 the next and then 4. That's a 5.29 GA and .848 % losing all 4 of those games.
He's been a bit better this year over 2 games, but he's let in 6 over those 2 games.
1-5 record over the last 2 years.

L 3.01gaa .901sv%
W 2.00gaa .939sv%
L 4.10gaa .871sv%
L 2.01gaa .926sv%
---
1-3, 2.75gaa~, .909sv%

are his last 4, so not too bad considering it's Kipper. You're right the streak before that is awful though, including playoffs from 08/09. He's only let in 5 this season, one was an empty net. Make sure to check the EGA column or GAA instead of just the box score  good find! Normally when I'm checking career stats vs I see their entire career stick out and not just recent games, so I'm sure I miss stuff like that a lot unless I already know about it.

Lundy has been struggling his last 4 or 5 games and bad against Detroit, it's understandable. Biron has been great.

I really need to start making up some ground on the guy ahead of me and it's been narrowed to 9 pts. Great to see Lundy sitting on the bench tonight.

As for my tenders......Lou and Rinne are two of the most reliable goalies in fantasy hockey right now. Lou should destroy my Sens and Rinner should handle Edmonton.
