Disclaimer: All of the following are based on my (hopefully) unbiased opinion and are in no way statistical fact. Factors going into my decisions include goalie skill, match up, career stats vs, and recent trends. How many goalies start reflects how much I write about them, usually. If you disagree about anything feel free to voice your opinion!

C = CONFIRMATION: All confirmations are listed below or click here (http://goaliestatus.com/)
* = Tandem goalie: Even if confirmed check as late as possible!

NOTE: I am extremely sorry these were posted so late. I did most of them this morning and had to rush out to do things, I didn't even consider that there'd be early games today. Hopefully no decisions were affected because I didn't make it in time!

Must Start
C Thomas vs SJS: Allowed 9 goals in his last 5 games, dipped below .941sv% just once (.923). Ridiculous.
Rinne vs DET: A very important match up for Rinne, but none of the high scoring teams he's played in the last month or so have made a dent in this guy. He's got pretty solid career numbers vs them too.

Good Start
C Reimer @BUF: Will his hot streak come to an end? Hard to say in Toronto, but if it does don't give up on him in keeper leagues. Don't give up on Gustavsson either, if you can stash him.
Miller vs TOR: 5 of Miller's last 6 games have been pretty good, even though he's letting in 3 goals sometimes. He's 23-8 against the Leafs with great stats.
C Lehtonen @PHI: Make a note, don't start Lehtonen against Vancouver. Aside from those 3 games he's been great for nearly 2 months. Stealth don't start though, he's 0-9-1 against Philly! To be fair though, 9 of them were with Atlanta, and we all know Niittymaki is undefeated against the Thrashers. Start with caution.
Boucher @DAL: Boucher is really being over shadowed by Bobrovsky and it's kind of unfortunate. 12 of his last 14 starts he's held his opponent to 2 or less.
Backstrom @PHX: 2 shutouts in his last 4 games, 6 goals allowed total.
Quick @CGY: 4 game win streak, 6 goals allowed in that span.
Kiprusoff vs LAK: 5 game win streak, 9 allowed! Huge turn around for Kipper owners and Flames playoff hopes.

Toss Up
C Niemi @BOS: Niemi has definitely improved since the beginning of the season, but I don't think he'll ever be as good as he was behind Chicago. He's allowed 3 goals in 3 of his last 4.
C Biron @MTL: Biron seems to have found a good home, and role as a veteran back up. He's 8-4 in his limited time and has posted the best numbers of his career.
C Price vs NYR: On the verge of good start, but still not consistent enough to return. 4 bad games in his last 10 starts, but when he wins he posts excellent numbers.
C Poulin vs OTT: For what it's worth Poulin has been fantastic for the Isles. With Dipietro and Lawson out, and Nabby not reporting, Islanders signed Joel Martin as their back up. Who?
Pavelec @CAR: 3 of his last 4 games have been pretty bad, but the other is a shutout. Mason is back from IR, so if he continues to stumble he might lose some starts.
Ward vs ATL: Ward seems to be back on track after posting a very poor January, as 5 of his last 6 have been decent (but not great.) He does however, now have my vote for save of the year. YouTube - Cam Ward's Unbelievable Save

Weak Start
C McElhinney @COL: I hate writing stuff for goalies before checking confirmations just to realize I did it for nothing. McElhinney has been decent in his last 2 games, but for the most part he's been pretty below average.
C Mason vs EDM: Both Columbus goalies have bad stats against Edmonton. From January 4th

Mason @PHX: 3 solid games followed by a bad one, followed by a bad one, followed by a bad one, followed by a bad one, followed by a shutout? Followed by more bad ones. Mason owners know the drill.

Both Columbus goalies have bad stats against Edmonton.
C Macdonald @NSH: Don't trust goalies who would never be in the NHL if it weren't for injuries.
Bryzgalov vs MIN: 19 goals allowed in his last 5, just one win.

Don't Start
C Budaj vs ANA: What's the record for most consecutive games of allowing 3 or more goals? Budaj is pushing for it hard. (12)
Khabibulin @CLB: Khabi is at 8 consecutive games, but he's going for most losses in a row. Anybody know? He's at 12.
C Elliott @NYI: If the Sens mess up Lehner I'm going to be extremely upset. He's not ready for the NHL. Neither is Elliott I guess.

Even thought Kippers home and VS matchup favors him, Just got a hunch that Kipper doesn't pull off a win tonight.

Whenever I get together with friends to watch the Flames game, they don't seem to fair very well, especially when I wear my Jersey... and tonight we're getting together and heading out to Flames Central to watch the game... and I'll be wearing my Jersey..
Like I said, Just a hunch.

It was a fun ride Boucher, you got me a whipping two wins in 3 weeks. Had to activate Spezza.

Big divisional matchup for Rinne tonight and keep an eye on the kid in Toronto.

Should I play Pavelec or Boucher? I already lost at wins so I'm just looking for good stats.
