Any objections before I act?

Things to point out:

-Sharp was one of my 4 unlimited keepers.
-Hall/Giroux can be kept as rookies until they reach 200 games. (its possible Giroux could go over his 200 game limit by 7 games. So I'm banking on him missing atleast 7 games to keep him for next year)
-Can only keep 2 rookie keepers (200 game limit players/150 GS goalies) I have Crawford/Ennis and a waiver claim in for Neuvirth)
-If Downie misses 6 more games I can keep him as a rookie keeper.

Giroux won't miss 7 games. I'd still keep him over Sharp, though, so make the deal. Keep Crawford and Hall as your rookies.

Keepers: Richards, Giroux, Doughty, Vokoun (?)
Rooks: Crawford, Hall

Wait, is this Sharp for Hall and Giroux or Sharp for Hall or Giroux. In my above post, I assumed you meant the former.

Yeah, it's for both.

I think this falls into the no-brainer category.

Pretty easy accept, being in Edmonton and watching Hall play I think he scores at least 35 goals next year and he won't reach 200 games until his third season. Then add Giroux on top of that makes it a killer deal for you.

I don't see how anyone can justify saying you shouldn't take that deal. That's a "take it and run fast" type of deal and you should be thrilled with it.

Update. It was vetoed.

Ouch. You clearly got the better end of that deal, but I don't think it was veto-worthy.

It's not, but that is how this league rolls. Veto's have been an issue since we started this league. It's nothing new.

I'd say it's a little veto worthy considering Giroux alone for Sharp is more than fair, but I still wouldn't even think about voting for it. Adding Hall to the deal gives you one of the top 5 keepers under 500 games I'd imagine, that's just money. Unfortunate.

try the deal again but add whover you'd drop going his way. see if it flies then.

I was dropping Savard but this morning I dropped him for Oshie. Since I put a waiver in for Neuvirth and got him I added him in with Sharp so I'm sending a rookie keeper back to him. (rookie goalies can be kept up to 150 GS)
We'll see if that flies.
