Going to try and speed this up a bit, so pick two.

This should be done considering basic categories (G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, - W, SV%, GAA, SO) and Basic positions (C, RW, LW, D and G)

Consider keepers for this year and the next.

#1 Sidney Crosby 85.71 % (HM Ovechkin 14.29%)
#2 Alex Ovechkin 75.00% (HM Stamkos 16.67%)
#3 Steve Stamkos 94.12% (#3 & #4 part of same vote)
#4 Evgeni Malkin 41.18% (HM Daniel Sedin 35.29%)
#5 Daniel Sedin 69.23 % (HM Perry and Lundqvist 15.38%)
#6 Corey Perry 57.14% (#6 & #7 part of same vote)
#7 Henrik Lundqvist 42.86% (HM Henrik Sedin 28.57%)
#8 Roberto Luongo 58.82 % (#8 & #9 part of same vote)
#9 Henrik Sedin 52.94% (HM Zach Parise 29.41%)
#10 Nicklas Backstrom 43.75% (#10 & #11 part of same vote)
#11 Ryan Getzlaf 37.50 % (HM Pat Kane 31.25%)
#12 Zach Parise 35.29% (#12 & #13 part of same vote)
#13 Dany Heatley 29.41 % (HM Kane, Datsyuk, St. Louis 23.53%)
#14 Patrick Kane 40% (#14 & #15 part of same vote)
#15 Eric Staal 30% (HM Datsyuk & St. Louis 20%)
#16 Pavel Datsyuk 45.83% (#16 & #17 part of same vote)
#17 Martin St. Louis 41.67% (HM Mike Green/Ryan Miller 29.17%)
#18 Ilya Kovalchuk 69.23 % (#18 & #19 part of same vote)
#19 Henrik Zetterberg 38.46% (HM Mike Green/Pekka Rinne 23.08%)
#20 Alexander Semin 71.43 % (#20 & #21 part of same vote)
#21 Ryan Miller 35.71 % (HM Mike Green 28.57%)
#22 Pekka Rinne 50% (#22 & #23 part of same vote)
#23 Mike Green 42.86% (HM Anze Kopitar 35.71%)
#24 Anze Kopitar 56.25% (#24 & #25 part of same vote)
#25 Bobby Ryan 31.25% (HM RichardsX2, Kesler, Stewart 18.75%)

Let me know which players to add.

As far as the point of these rankings, it's just something fun and interesting to do (a procrastination tool). I understand leagues have different categories and scoring rules, but that still doesn't prevent sites like rotoworld, espn, etc. from ranking players. I think the people on this forum are more in tune with fantasy hockey then those sites and can come up with better rankings.

I think I'll add Gaborik and who else next round?

By the way if a player gets no votes in a round I have been swapping him out with another player.

That doesn't make sense, just leave them there, I would have voted for Gaborik last round, I just assumed he was picked already. You're adding new people anyways, it shouldn't be a problem.

Agree with Raja, don't remove anyone just add.

fair enough

Anyways five way tie for second right now between Brad Richards, Stewart, Eiksson, Doughty, and Carter, does someone want to break it.

Add Gaborik instead of any of them.

Stewart, Fleury, and Doughty now tied.

I will add habber82's selections next.

Kesler and Stewart (in fact almost everyone on the board) ahead of Thornton is mind-boggling.... amazing what one good/bad season will do to your perceived value.... If this is the case in many leagues, Thornton would make for a really good buy low candidate.

Thornton went pretty late last year for me too. I wouldn't take Kesler ahead of him but Stewart is an easy choice for me. A 35/35 RW that gets PIMs/SOG is huge over a center that gets 20/70. Ribiero gets very similar numbers to Thornton and can be grabbed in the 5th++++ round, it's pointless to waste such a high pick.

Low goal totals and low SOG hurt Thornton, he's not a 100+ point guy anymore either. I'd grab him in front of Kesler but mid-late 3rd round sounds right for Big Joe nowadays.
