Going to try and speed this up a bit, so pick two.

This should be done considering basic categories (G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, - W, SV%, GAA, SO) and Basic positions (C, RW, LW, D and G)

Consider keepers for this year and the next.

#1 Sidney Crosby 85.71 % (HM Ovechkin 14.29%)
#2 Alex Ovechkin 75.00% (HM Stamkos 16.67%)
#3 Steve Stamkos 94.12% (#3 & #4 part of same vote)
#4 Evgeni Malkin 41.18% (HM Daniel Sedin 35.29%)
#5 Daniel Sedin 69.23 % (HM Perry and Lundqvist 15.38%)
#6 Corey Perry 57.14% (#6 & #7 part of same vote)
#7 Henrik Lundqvist 42.86% (HM Henrik Sedin 28.57%)
#8 Roberto Luongo 58.82 % (#8 & #9 part of same vote)
#9 Henrik Sedin 52.94% (HM Zach Parise 29.41%)
#10 Nicklas Backstrom 43.75% (#10 & #11 part of same vote)
#11 Ryan Getzlaf 37.50 % (HM Pat Kane 31.25%)
#12 Zach Parise 35.29% (#12 & #13 part of same vote)
#13 Dany Heatley 29.41 % (HM Kane, Datsyuk, St. Louis 23.53%)
#14 Patrick Kane 40% (#14 & #15 part of same vote)
#15 Eric Staal 30% (HM Datsyuk & St. Louis 20%)

Let me know which players to add.

As far as the point of these rankings, it's just something fun and interesting to do (a procrastination tool). I understand leagues have different categories and scoring rules, but that still doesn't prevent sites like rotoworld, espn, etc. from ranking players. I think the people on this forum are more in tune with fantasy hockey then those sites and can come up with better rankings.

Stewart and/or Eriksson.

I'd add Kovalchuk and Rinne.
Also don't know how Datsyuk isn't getting any love. 97 points in 2 of the last 3 seasons, was on pace for 96 before he gets injured, add in LW eligibility and he's a stud. He's getting a little older but even in keepers i usually don't plan more then 3 years ahead.

Oh, I own him in my keeper and forgot about Kovy haha him instead of Eriksson, still Stewart.

Kovalchuk needs to be in there.... He should already have been voted in IMO.

I am also surprised by the lack of love for Datsyuk. He is the definition of stud and should be considered ahead of Getzlaf, Staal, Kane and Heatley in all keeper formats.

Datsyuk is not ahead of ppg+ wingers. Getzlaf maybe, Staal yes. imo at least.

Datsyuk is a ppg+ winger.

He might be. I'd take Datsyuk and Miller here

It's Yahoo he's almost as likely to lose C as he is LW

(16) St. Louis
(17) Green

I am confident Green will rebound next season.

Surprised Staal got in before Datsyuk. I voted Datsyuk and Miller this round but would have taken Rinne before Miller.

Adding to the next poll

Kovy for sure

Between Rinne and Stewart (Could add both if I dropped Jeff Carter who hasn't got a vote).

Carter should not even be mentioned this early in the process, nor should Stewart.

Before you add Stewart, Eriksson, Byfuglein and Carter, you must at least consider:

Semin
Brad Richards
Thornton
Ryan
Duchene
Kopitar
Toews
Nash
Doughty
Yandle
Enstrom
Stastny
Boyle
Keith
Weber
Marleau
Iginla

Agreed Carter should not be mentioned yet. Semin, Ryan, and maybe Kopitar are the only people on that list I'd even consider taking over Stewart though.
