Don't pass this kid up. 8 points in his last 5 games, he's got tons of potential and high upside. Best comparison I've heard is Sundin. If you can get him in a keeper or deep league hurry before it's too late, but after a 50-60~ point rebound season this year expect him to be the highest scoring Blue for years to come.

I picked him up last Sunday in a couple of leagues and he's paid off very nicely this week.

Do you guys think he'll keep it up when Perron and Oshie return to the lineup?

Yes. I'd expect him to be streaky anyways though so he'll have hot streaks like now and slumps regardless of it they're there or not.

Completely agree with Raja. He'll be a fantasy force in a few years as he's got all the tools and is part of a great young core in St.Louis but right now he's a streaky player who battles inconsistency issues and will absolutely drive you nuts when he goes 5 games or more without a point or two points in ten games.

He's worth grabbing for the time being while he has a larger role with Oshie and Perron out but don't expect this hot play to last too long. There are just too many similar players usually available on FA lists.

I think the fact that he is a C hurts his value the largest. How often do rookies score more than 50 points weighed against how many >50 point centers are their usually on FA

Not sure what you mean with your rookie argument? I agree him being a C hurts his value a bit though, but this is mainly for keeper leagues, his value isn't too high this year. Once he's secured in the top 6 though and can get a handle on taking so many faceoffs he'll be gold in pools that count them though. At 6'4 210 he'll should start to develop a use for his size and use it hopefully. Next year would be his 4th and that's the magical break out year for a majority of players, so it'll be fun to see how he pans out.

Brain fart I was thinking of someone else in career seasons played

Yeah it seems like season 3-5 is when the prospects put it together. I would look for Berglund to put things together next season too, in deep keepers no way he should be FA

would you pick Berglund over Couture, Skinner, Wolski, Bogosian or Ennis?

This deserves a bump, love this guy. 17 points in his last 16, but meh +/- and PIMs for sure. Huge bonus for FW recently and Hits if your league counts either.

Boyes is looking good again too will he possibly turn his career around although with Stewart there he goes down depth I bet.

I picked up Bergs yesterday, he is one to watch this season and next.
