Cammalleri has been studly this year if you drafted him somewhat late!!

Stillman has been huge a FA addition/very late round choice!!

I'll praise King Henrik for playing so well with ZERO support from the team in front of him!!

Zetterberg 18 points now picked up right where he left off last year

ya, i'd have to agree here, Zetterburg has looked dominating so far this year.

I'll throw up a well done to mr. Mats Sundin.... 2nd for total scoring behind zetterburg. Great start for him...

Anyone else seeing zetter getting 100 pts this season?

living in Detroit and watching him everynight I think that only way he doesnt hit 100 is if that injury bug hits him..

Winner league - Traded Kane for Mike Richards, and it has paid off nicely.

Picked up Kovalev and Sharp from the FA at different times :)

And as of this moment, grabbing Conklin after Fleury went down has been worlds better than I thought it would

Perry scores 16 seconds into the game! Hopefully this is a sign he's gonna fire the puck on net all night long and possibly put up another point or two!

This guy has been easily one of my best fantasy players this season. He continues to be among the top 10-15 in goals (he's got 21 now), he gets lots of SOG, and he contributes a sweet amount of PIMs too!

I imagine trades are a little easier to deal with.

I have that in one of my leagues too. It's not too different, except it causes many less headaches trying to figure out who to play/bench on a given night. Just throw them all in regardless of position...

Props to Matheiu Garon.

I don't understand how McTavish keeps giving Roloson starts with the way Garon has been playing. He was absolutely phenominal against the Rangers last night, singlehandedly kept them in the game when NYR controlled the puck in the EDM zone for minutes at a time. First goal was a funky change-up deflection, second goal was just a sick play by Drury. Other than that, he was stopping everything, doing the splits, quick glove hands, etc.

Way to go, Mr. Former Backup...

exactly.

im the commish of my league with 9 friends of mine. i always send an e-mail out to them before the season starts asking what kinds of changes they would like to see. a few years ago i asked if they would like having F instead of LW, RW, C since a good friend of mine and i always bitched about sitting players while we had open slots that night. the response was overwhelmingly positive since ppl hated sitting a LW for example, while having an open C slot for that night. also, many players play different positions, i see ppl bitching about player eligibility a lot. lastly, there is no RD and LD, right?

anyways, back on track with the thread... mike green u are my savior! keep it up!

I just wanted to thank you to Henrik Zetterberg, Nicklas Lidstrom, and Jarome Iginla for really helping my +/- out greatly in the last two weeks. I went from a -46 to a -28 in the past two weeks (thanks to a very clutch Kovalchuk and Hossa for Iginla and Zetterberg trade). I am now out of last in +/- for the first time all year and I think I can keep climbing to maybe even middle of the pack in that category. I am in second-last still, but if I keep up this pace I could really earn some nice points in my roto league.

I just want to praise about a few trades I made last year and this year in a keeper that my leaguemates laughed at me for making in the begining of last year. The trade was my Bertuzzi for Nabby and Toskala. I easily took that trade.

This season comes and I have Toskala and Nabby and the bum Bert is doing nothing all year.... Whos laughing now? later on, I end up trading slowed-down Hossa and Toskala for Marty, Raask and Setoguchi. I took that trade, easily. Now, I trade Rask and Jack Johnson for Lidstrom and Horcoff. Then traded Setoguchi for S. Kolozv, probably my worse trade this year I suppose. Then I move Vaneks 10 mill salary for Langkow. Next, I move Michalek for Frolov and finally move Kunitz for Visnovsky.

Thats what I call a good way to build a team. Kunitz for Vis I was excited about because I dont see Kunitz(unless they really consider playing him first line all next year which i dont think will happen) doing anything next year and see big things for Visnovsky after this slow year.

I'm not whining or bitching. I'm simply replying to comments made to me both on the boards and via PMs (*cough* nyihater4life *cough*). It's simple - if you don't want to hear my opinion/thoughts on Lundqvist (which I think were completely fair and not made in a whining or bitching fashion), then don't engage me in a conversation about him!

What a short memory you have. You may not have made the initial comment, but you inferred that I was bitching with the following comment, which I quoted early. I'll quote it again:

he was suppose to stop bitching when he traded him;)

And no need to tell me to "chill out." I made that post in the spirit of good fun. I don't mind people calling me out on my Lundqvist-hating ways. I enjoy the dialogue - it brings me back to the good old days of Isles fans v. Rangers fans in high school. I don't mind the back and forth between myself and other Lundy loyalists, especially yourself and nyrblue2 - nothing wrong w/ a good old fashioned Isles/Rangers rivalry :)

What a short memory you have. You may not have made the initial comment, but you inferred that I was bitching with the following comment, which I quoted early. I'll quote it again:

And no need to tell me to "chill out." I made that post in the spirit of good fun. I don't mind people calling me out on my Lundqvist-hating ways. I enjoy the dialogue - it brings me back to the good old days of Isles fans v. Rangers fans in high school. I don't mind the back and forth between myself and other Lundy loyalists, especially yourself and nyrblue2 - nothing wrong w/ a good old fashioned Isles/Rangers rivalry :)

I was joking around when i said you were suppose to stop bitching but I guess you couldnt tell...

I almost forgot to thank Brandon Dubinsky. I picked him up since he's been putting up points on the Rangers' 1st line lately, and the guy gets me 15 PIM out of nowhere to help me win PIM by 1. I'm beginning to like this kid.

What did I say to make you think I wasn't joking around right back at you? Telling someone to "chill out" doesn't strike me as joking around...Either way, I even made a point of singling out yourself and nyrblue2 as 2 guys I like going back and forth with about the Queen. When I drafted Kipper and Lundqvist, I thought my goalies were set. For the first time this season, Kipper (1.00 GAA / .974 SV%) and Lundqvist (0.00 GAA / 1.00 SV% / 1 SHO) both performed up to expectations on the same night, giving me hope that these so-called "second half performers" can at least be "last quarter of the season performers" and perhaps justify the high draft picks I used on them.

The words "chill out" don't offend me. My point is that you claimed that you were only "joking around," but in addition to telling me to chill out, you also made another post that was obviously trying to start a fight:

There was no need for the "but I guess you couldn't tell" at the end of that sentence. Other than being a nice little passive aggressive jab at me, that line serves no purpose. It seems like the more I try to diffuse the situation, the more you try to start a fight.

only reason I played him is because Fleury didn't get the start....I figured Thomas had a better chance of winning than Lehtonen did vs. Montreal

Yeah, Ersberg has been amazing, and I wish I would have picked him up for one of those games. My opponent just picked him up this morning, but LA has some tough games ahead w/ DAL, SJ twice, and ANA. Yeah he's playing way over his head right now for sure... I'm probably not gonna play him anymore, might as well quit while I'm ahead. My roster for the team I have him is locked once playoffs start, so I can't really drop him for someone else anyway. (We do that to prevent streaming, etc.)

He actually has a 2gaa W vs Dallas already, and lost in the 6th round in a shootout vs Anahiem day before last night 1-2 SO loss, (39svs)... I have to bench him vs SJ anyway, but you gotta ride a hot tender till the flame goes out. Wait a sec - I dont have Lundy and have no interest in the Rangers, but wasn't it only a few weeks ago where people were calling Lundy out as having real shitty stats? I remember that 5 goal lead they blew to Montreal, and i think that was probably the apex of the shitstorm directed at Lundy. Did everyone forget, or was it just really blown out of proportion?

Yeah there was a few Lundy bashers on here, ive never said a bad word about him... He's been the best goalie ive ever had for a Fantasy year so maybe I'm biased. Theres no way I would have made it this far without him.

Nabokov has been more consistent for sure... but a few more SHO's woulda been nice. Lundy has atleast 1 SHO in EVERY month this year... thats pretty insane. Helps soo much in H2H leagues atleast.

Pick up Lalime for tomorrow! Another GREAT spot start situation.

BUF is hot. Vanek is hot. ATL is cold. There's no reason for BUF to lose against the Trash tomorrow. Yeah I know it's a B2B for BUF but they played at home today and ATL is only 14hrs away. The key is LALIME IS FRESH and he played well enough last game.

BUF 4-1 IMO.

Martin Brodeur ladies and gentlemen.

I was able to grab him in both my leagues this year, and I can't be happier so far.... 6 away from breakin the record now. (Knock on wood) but I think we'll see Marty back to double digit SHO's this year.

Couple of shoutouts for me.

Marleau for being a beast for me so far this year, especially after I nabbed him in quite a few pools.

and Doan, one of my favorite players put me over the top last night.

Oh, and Iggy, too while I'm at it. Took him earlier than most would (third overall), but I'm pretty happy with it right now.

Vanek for justifying my faith in him. I said a lot of things about him last season and was laughed at a bit. I never traded him when I could have. Now he is the goal scoring king and the offers are flowing in. met with swift and satisfying rejections of course
