I agree that its BS, but its only because a certain few. It only take a few to hold things up. If it wasn't for those few that were consistently late it would have gone much smoother and been done by now. Just my 2 cents.

I take no issue with the speed of the draft. I like the more relaxed pace of the offline draft, no matter how long they take. Granted, I check my email all the time for other reasons, so I always know (within an hour or so) when I'm picking. If I wasn't already so on top of my email, or if I worked somewhere that I couldn't access the internet, I might feel differently.

This year it was the top of the order who slowed us down. But we will still be done in time so no harm no foul, I guess.

I feel the same way. We're going to be done almost a week before the season starts. While there were a couple of people who slowed it down, shit happens and you can't always be at the computer.

We started at 24 hours for a pick and then cut it to 12 hours right? If we go offline again next year, why not just start it at 12 hours a pick.

I agree that would be a good idea. If I remember correctly I think I even mentioned it to sucker before the draft.

Took RB Peyton HIllis with my last pick, don't see him on the player list though. Sorry for my last 3 picks being held up. My email push notifications are acting up on my stupid smart phone and I rarely check them on the actual PC.

my bad. feel free to stone me at will.

I started the season.

Keys missed his pick. he can either pick up a player once the players gone from waiver to FA or just tell me who he wants and I'll add him manually to his roster.

Please check your team if everything is fine. If not let me know and I'll try to fix it.

All players are on waivers until Septemeber, 7th. Please remember that the FAAB is already installed so if you want to snatch someone off waivers you need to place a bid on him.

Have fun.

This year should have been online as the majority voted that way....even if it was 6-5 or whatever. Next year I will be more vocal if the majority want an online draft(!)

PS: do you think the Hardesty owner is happy we started drafting 3+ weeks ago? Probably not...I know I prefer to draft close to the season as so much can change between mid-August and late-August. Anyway, I'll zip it for now, but be warned I will campaign HARD for online next season.

Agreed. Hardesty is a great example but there were many times during this draft that news would come out that would really change the direction of my pick.

I understand why we did the slow draft but the on-line one is the preferred option for me also.
