I don't think so. You can probably do so from your signature, but not the avatar.

yeah, he's trying to make it so hwen you click on his avatar you go to the ppa site.

Why would it be illegal?

I don't really see why it would even be frowned upon. It's not like this is a competing poker site or an anti-poker site....
