Team in sig. Should i use my first waiver on him? Lucic would probably be the victim.
Looking at my team, im only a solid D and lw away from winning this thing. EDIT (and perhaps a goalie, but we wont go there)
I mean, what better could I honestly wait for? I could stash him on the bloody IR, cant i?
On a side note... ryder just got dropped, so should i pick him up if i put zubov on the IR? or should i definately try to trade for a lw
(i might be breaking ground on a ribiero/ganger for horcoff/parise deal, so i would have 3lw and could use a 4th rw).

Ryder should outpoint Kessel.... Is that Marian Hossa? Def. drop Lucic or Zidlicky for Zubov

Yep, grab Zubov and IR him!
Lucic might just make it through waivers to grab, if not grab Ryder.

I think it is a worthwhile move drop Zidlicky For him. The reports say Zubov is back in the near term he is one of the best defensemen out there for fantasy. I am pretty tolerant of injury risk so keep mind that he has struggled lately with various ailments and could see significant downtime this season.

I don't think he will be IR, but def. grab him with the #1, what better player do you think will be flat out dropped?

He should be IR once the season begins, as his salary is probably a bit higher than most, so IR'ing him saves the Stars cap space.

Tue, Oct 7 Zubov was placed on the injured reserve after undergoing hip surgery.
Advice: He will be reevaluated toward the end of October, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. The defenseman should remain productive when he returns - he had 35 points in 46 games last year - but the 38-year-old is an injury risk. His 2007-08 season was cut short due to foot surgery.

Alright, hope he's back around the end of the month. In the meantime, I can play with his roster position. Only D I would consider is Goligoski. May want to slip a forward in there, O'Sullivan, Turris, Brunette and Lucic are FA. I think I better take Sully, but worry a bit of the +/-, so maybe Brunette? Any advice?
