Is Vlasic an upgrade over any of my current Dman?

Not sure why since he is a young dman on a good team. Do you see him as an upgrade to any of my current Dman? I know most of you will probably say drop Tollefson/Murray. That seems like a good move, but those two are really the only PIM guys have especially since I just lost Walker. This is a keeper league where each team keeps 18 guys. Its also a max move league and I have already used 9 moves out my 100. My team and settings are in my sig.

FYI Vlasic is still on waivers and I have the #2 spot if you think its worth using.

I wouldn't. He'll be stuck behind Boyle for a bunch of years and Blake for at least a couple more. I doubt he'd make your top 18 anyway...

I really don't think you will make over 100 moves this season...that would be a bit much no?

With all the guys you keep, and the fact this is a large pool, it might be worth grabbing him over one of Tolly/Murray/Brewer. I see Vlasic having much more upside than any of these three. I wouldn't burn a waiver on it, especially a #2 waiver, but if he clears I would consider him for Brewer most likely if you need the PIMs from the other two.

I doubt he'd make your top 18 anyway...Yeah I figured he would be behind those guys on the depth chart. I just thought with his age and potential he may be worth it. Since I already have the likes of Coburn, Kronwall, Whitney, EJ and Ranger your right he probably wont be kept.

I am just not sure if my team can afford to lose one of those 2 PIM guys. I am going to hang onto Brewer cause he should take over EJ spot. I need an offensive Dman to make up for the loss of Whitney, EJ and while Ranger is out. Like I mentiond I may consider dropping Tollefson for him, but I am just not sure if I can afford to.

I would consider dumping Tolly or Murray for him then, maybe see which one will be the better PIM producer. I know Murray's PIM numbers dipped down the second half of last season.

I would drop Bolland, Christ and Federov before Connolly....

I'd stick with the original plan of dumping Tolly. Bolland is on the top line with Kane and Sharp, and Federov is a nice D-man option (has D eligibilty) and I'm guessing will be working the point for the Caps with A.O. and crew.

Connolly I would keep over Tolly easily. If you really can't decide, just pass on Vlasic for now.

Ok thanks guys. I will wait to see what Tollefson's fate with the team will be. If he makes it I think I will hang onto him for now.
