I haven't watched him during the preseason, I know he impressed the Leafs though.....just wanted to ask if anyone could project his PIMs....100 last year in the minors.....

I personally think he will play his 9 games then get sent back down.
I would not invest much in him this year unless its a keeper and you have a deeper bench

Although he was just signed to a 3 year entry level contract as per TSN...so...take that for what its worth

I wouldn't expect him to get a ton of ice time this year as Kubina and Kaberle will be the top TOI guys. I can see Carlo and possibly Van Ryn getting more as well. IF he does stay with the big club all year he'll probably be on the 3rd pairing this year.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he's sent down after 9 games, so as not to burn a year on his newly signed 3 year entry level contract. The leafs should suck for a few years and take high draft picks, then let all the kids in the system play and grow together...

I don't think he should be owned in fantasy. He is a steady defenceman. He is good enough to be in the top two with Kaberle this season IMO... Whether he stays there or not is up to Leafs' management, and depends how badly the Leafs get slaughtered in their first 9 games. Great D though... just not fantasy wise.

I dont want to type what im thinking right now about this very knowledgable NHL fans' post. I wonder if shes ok with that?:D
Schenn as most have said shouldnt play more than 9 games for the said reasons.
