Is it just me? Or can't I type new paragraphs? Also I can't use any of the formatting options or similes unless I do them manually....Using Mozilla if that makes a difference

Not exactly sure what you're describing. When you say manually, do you mean typing the bbcode yourself or selecting the option from the bar? What formatting was not working for you (left align vs right align? font size/color?)

Well pretty much everything. Can't write on new lines/paragraphs. The top bar with all the options aren't functional and the smilies on the right aren't functional either. It's like everything is a picture except I can type in the middle with no new lines (enter button)

Almost sounds like you had the problem in thread: http://forums.hockeyinformer.com/showthread.php?t=53164

Except while making a new thread...

I've had some weird behavior in the quick reply box - backspace or delete keys randomly not working, not able to highlight a section of text - random stuff like that. I always chocked it up to something weird going on w/ my keyboard/OS, but now that I think about it, I only have those problems here on HI.

What version of Mozilla?
Good question as I've been hearing a lot of people have been having problems with version 3. Come to think of it I'm not sure if you said it wasn't as good as 2 or maybe it was soty.

Out of ideas... I run that version as well and haven't had that problem.

Isn't Mozilla = Firefox?

Apparently not? :dunno:

Isn't Mozilla = Firefox?

It's a website compatibility thing. Even IE identifies itself as Mozilla/5.0 compatible.

A collective name for all Mozilla-based browsers

For simplicity, the word Mozilla is often used to refer to all Mozilla-based browsers. For example, when it is said that a website is usable by Mozilla browsers, it means that it is usable by Mozilla Suite, Firefox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox), Camino (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camino), Netscape 6, etc. In some older Internet statistics programs, the term "Netscape 5.x" is incorrectly used to refer to these browsers because the user agent string starts with Mozilla/5.0.

I'm having this problem, too. Not with the quick reply but with the post reply. In order to get any kind of customization in my post I have to click the "Switch Editor Mode" button and enter HTML mode.

Didn't want to start a new thread. Does anyone have any idea why my signature font appears big to everyone but me?

Can you show your sig in this thread so I don't have to look for it?

Hmm. The sig was there earlier, but I guess he disabled it.

And that's probably the easiest solution to his problem, to be honest.

What browser are you using?

For reference, size 2 is the default font size that I get on FF3.6.

edit that post and click on the "A/A" icon on the top right corner of the editor box (above the Smilies in the full editor). That will switch you from WYSIWYG mode to markup mode. You'll see that all of your text is set to size=3, which is why it appears larger than normal.

As Hamster said, normal text is size=2, but you have this (size 3).

That sounds to me like you have some setting on your browser to override what <font size="3"> means... 'cause that's all that's being served up from vBulletin.
