I have a chance to get Luongo / Vinny Lecaliver for my Lundqvist and Jokinen

Seems pretty good to me...

just that Luongo plays on VAN... not really the best team

Lundy > Luongo
Jokinen << Vinny

Thoughts? I have to decide soon.

Any help would be appreciated! Need some confidence push.

Thanks in advance.

yeah I'd take it and run if you ask me. Vinny is producing at an incredible level and will keep at it. And its a coin toss with Lundy and Luongo (Lundy a bit ahead because of youth)

ya this is for keepers... both are good and I think Luongo won't be that much off vs Lundy... both are workhorse anyways

He wants me to throw in a 1st round pick (9th overall)... but I'll probably take it

you think Jokinen will produce much better as well also at PHX?

I wouldn't say much better, I think he might produce a bit better. Nothing that drastic though.

I'd pull the deal

Thanks for the quick help.

I got him to throw in Sykora .. i see him as an upgrade over Jason Williams or Holmstrom for my keeper

kinda glad I was able to push these draft picks down to 3rd... phew

That's a solid deal. Nicely done.

Bobby Lu is not really going to disappoint for a long time anyway, and Vinny is a significant upgrade over Jokinen.

This looks like rape to me... and I love Jokinen.

Lundy > Lu? Wrong! At worst Lundy = Lu. If Van can ice a semi competitive team, Lu > Lundy easily IMO. Despite a down year, Lu is still the best possible goalie to have in a keeper (given Brodeur's age).

And you get Lecav for Jokinen? SNAP!! You def rape that portion of the deal.

Sykora is just icing on the cake.

You take a minor hit in the draft picks, but big deal, you own everywhere else.

ya my only concern was Lundy over Luongo.. both are great goalies and goalie stats is 5/18 categories and often managers keep all their goalies.

but it's done and i'm quite happy about it... my other goalies are fleury and brodeur.. so now I finally have a goalie from the West (with lundqvist.. i have all 3 goalies from the same division)

Good deal. You might even be able to trade Luongo down the road and set yourself for next year. Luongo is very tradable even if the Canucks flush themselves.

Solid deal, and I'm with chgor here in that Bobby Lu is >> than Lundy. Vinny is definitely a >> over Olli, and should be able to maybe even put up some more points with the new cast surrounding him in TB (mostly on the PP, and I think the Prospal - Vinny - St. Louis line stays).

Great package for you. I think you come ahead in all counts, despite my homerist liking for Lundquist. I think Luongo is better.

I'm kinda surprised with Vinny's last year PP production.. only 29 PPP (10 PPG)... not sure what happened there but I remember TB having a hard time with its Powerplay.

They were missing Boyle for a good portion of the season, and they had ZERO other offensive weapons (aside from Vin, StL and Richards) on the TEAM, let alone the rest of the D, so that may have had something to do with it. They have less offensive talent on the blueline now than they did last season, but at least now they have a few decent offensive fwds who could play the PP point. I think Vin will do better.

I agree with that. Missing Boyle really hurt, as they had really no blue line presence on the PP. Carle should be more than good enough to fill that role. Prospal, Malone, Stamkos all added helps out across the board for Vin.
