Unless it's just a guy who really likes selling iphones
Happens every time I'm pressured into rushing thru the new accounts.. *grumble*

Is there a setting where you have to reply to a certain number of posts before starting a new thread? Maybe that would stifle someone like that. Anyway thanks for moderating :)

yeah, or there would be a bunch of bogus threads that new people reply to just to get their #s up.

I don't understand this? Is there some kind of monetary award for the top posters? If there is then HI must have my wrong mailing address because I haven't received shit! LOL

I don't think anything needs to be changed. There have been two spammers I've heard about this year and Jeff has summarily executed both of them within a day. Its really not a problem here compared to other forums.

pete, i think he means get the post number up so they could start a thread if there was a min. post count in order to start threads.

Never thought of it that way. Interesting. Thanks Farmer.

no problem, its a good idea in theory, just people who only come in to ask questions will spam pretty much guaranteed

Yeah that is a good point and then it would be even worse.

Speaking of weird PM's, did anyone else get a PM from some dude about buddhism? I initially thought it was spam, but then I do have "zen" in my username so I thought it just might have been some lonely buddhist monk hockey nut or something. When I clicked on the guy he seemed to be banned, so I just assumed it was another spammer.
Also, I'm *almost* offended that dman never sent me one of his now infamous PM invitations. Guess that post count wasn't high enough to make the cut. Good thing, too...

Naw. You'll probably just rub in picking up Leclaire after I dumped his ass early in the season.
