Yea, sorry I didn't explain it all. Its control V to paste by the way, control C is copy, probably just mixed it up.

You could also crop the pic in Paint but I ain't that good yet.

:) In paint or what program have you, select the dotted sqaure tool from the tool bar drag it over the area you want to crop, Control + X to cut. File --> New, dont save current image, Control + V and now you have your cropped image, File --> Save. Piece of cake.

They have to be from your team. Keep four players from your team. However, since you've switched leagues you could have players on your roster that are already on a roster for a team that has stayed in division 2.

If you both want to keep the same player, they have priority over you.

You woud then either keep another player off your team, or take an extra draft pick. The pick would come before anyone elses picks.

Anyway, I created a keepers file in both leagues and posted the keepers for everyone who has gotten back to me so far.

I'd just like to report that I threw back absolute crap and no one should even look at the players that I didn't keep. In fact, just pretend that I didn't even throw anyone back at all and ignore those players completely both in the supplemental draft and the regular draft. There's no one of any fantasy value amongst my rejects, which is exaclty what they are. I really hope for all your sake that you heed my words and DO NOT DRAFT any of the players I returned to the pool.

Is it standard practice to allow people who don't keep players to essentially get 4 draft picks before anyone else has a chance?
I don't like this format. I think the supplementary draft should be at the end. Maybe something to consider for next year. Kind of defeats the purpose of a keeper league if you decide to keep no one, because you know there's better guys to be drafted, especially when there's 6 teams changing leagues thereby freeing up all their best players.

I'm just a little bitter because I didn't know you could do this, and I ended up keeping guys like Tanguay and Toskala, and dudes like Crosby, Ovechkin, and Kovalchuk were going in the supplementary draft.

Cayuga pretty much won the league by not keeping anyone.
Anyways, just something to consider for next year maybe.

i wasn't clear on the rules because i was gone all last year. i was in div1 the first year, came 5th or something, and then pulled out because i knew i'd be gone all last year. unfortunately i never had time to figure out the drafting rules. i don't even know if the team i took over switched div's or not. oh well, as you say, dems the breaks. just gonna be more of an uphill climb to get back to div1.

I know I already confirmed that I'm going to be back, but it looks like I need to scale back my fantasy games a bit for the next 2-3 months due to an intermittent travel schedule that could make me inactive for a couple weeks at a time as well as an unreliable computer.

Also, Hobbes it looks like you have moderator status for the Div. 1 Yahoo group, could you check to see if you can give that to me also? Actually if i get access to the group for Div. 2 i can run that as well for the draft, someone in Div. 2 will need to create the league in Yahoo though.
I say we give a deadline of Aug 27th for checking in, keepers due the 30th, then start the supplemental draft the 31 with the full draft following when that's done.

Keepers for teams staying in their division will be due Tuesday at 11:59pm ET. There's a 24 hour grace period, after that if your keepers are not in will find a new manager to replace you. Keepers for teams moving division will be due Wednesday at 11:59pm ET same grace period applies. The supplemental draft will start Friday at noon ET, when that is finished we will start the full draft. For both the time limit to make a pick will be 12 hours. Anyone who isn't quite clear on the keeper rules, PM me on HI and i'll go over them with you.
